Tiburons are NOT poser cars. The 4 cylinder is a mirror copy of Mitsubishis 4G63, and can handle quite a bit of power. The 6 speed is the same unit used in the Sentra Spec V, and the Nissans LSD bolts in. The factory shocks are quite stiff, and the thing handles pretty well stock. It rides smooth and stable at high speeds, more so than my car. Plus they look super cool from the back, with the low spoiler.

...My mom has one

Don't know the story, but it's the same transmission. Reportedly the Tiburon did the shifter better though, getting rid of the clunkiness of the Spec V's shifter, but I dunno cuz I haven't driven a 6 speed Tiburon.

I am sorry but looks are all the V6 model has going for it. If the 4 cylinder truly is a 4G63, then color me impressed. The V6 however; is a pile of crap. Not only is it VERY slow but it also gets horrible gas mileage. From all the things I've read about this car none of them impress me. All I like are the looks, of the new ones anyway. The old ones are one of the ugliest cars on the road.

Please tell me youre kidding right? I doubt a STOCK Tib can actually beat a STOCK GT, especially since thats what most stock 99+ auto GTs run.
