1996 5.7 fuel regulator
i have a 1996 350 and went to replace the fuel pressure regulator. My question is there supposed to be a vacuum line going to it? It has the nipple on it but I don't see any lines inside the intake for it to hook up to. I had this truck for 2 years now and has always done the hesitating. Changed all of the usual stuff( plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, and o2 ) but still hesitates. Any other ideas on the vacuum.

No vacuum line on this design. See http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...sure+regulator

Re: 1996 5.7 fuel regulator
Thanks for the reply, I'll throw it back together and hope for the best. By the way, any ideas why it would be hesitating when I step on it. Already changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap , rotor, o2 sensor, and still comes up with random misfires. no. 3 was the worst one with over 200.

Other things that can cause it: - worn out dist drive gear - worn out spider (note there is an upgraded spider that converts from central port fuel injection to multiport fuel injection) - intake manifold leak Good Luck, //2000CAYukon |
