Question

F-150 wont run - sucking noise?

I started my truck and it made a loud pop. Now it will start but will only run if I keep foot on the gas peddle and it makes a loud noise like it is sucking in air. Any one had this before??

what year????? maybe it backfired thru the carb and shot the power valve
