Mystery Indicator Lights

My '93 has two little red lights; one on in the center of the center console and one under the turn signal lever. When I close the door they both blink twice (iirc) then go out. They appear to be factory installed but I can't find any mention of them in the owners manual. Does anyone have a clue what they are? As far as I know there is no alarm system.

A pic or video would be great.

I'm kinda crippled up at the moment. I'll post some pics when I'm more mobile.

Re: Mystery Indicator Lights

Here are the red lights I mentioned. Normally they are off. When I close the door they blink once and go off.

Re: Mystery Indicator Lights

Those are aftermarket lights for an alarm system.

Thanks. After yesterday I'm not suprised. I spent a good part of the day upside down under the dash trying to map out circuits and installing a lights-on reminder. There are more extra, dead end wires and toggle switches that perform unknown functions under there. And I didn't even look under the passenger side.
