Need some help
What is the best glue to use after body has been painted to attach lights,windows etc.. to painted surface?

you can use elmers I believe, as it dries clear. Testors makes a clear window glue. I started using Formula 540 I think it is, it is good stuff as well. Anything that dries clear will work. DO NOT use plastic cement, or superglue

I always use Bostik white wood glue (similar to Elmers mentioned above) It dries clear and any excess can easily be removed with a damp cloth.For glueing windows into body shells on car models I use double sided carpet tape.It's also clear and there is no risk of any glue oozing onto your windows.The join is also instant as it does not need to dry and very strong.
