Re: torque convertor plug to drain fluid?

Torque converter is drained at the transmission oil cooler return line and cannot be drained with a tranny pan drop. You'll need a 3/4 inch quick disconnect tool (cheap plastic ones work just fine), about 2 feet of 3/4 plastic tubing and container that's marked at quart intervals. Disconnect the return line from the tranny cooler and put the plastic tubing on the aluminum end and place other end of tubing in the container. Start the truck and start feeding tranny fluid in at the same rate that the container is being filled. It doesn't fill so fast that you can't keep up. Tranny fluid goes from pan, to converter, to cooler then back to pan.
