Thumbs down 99 GP SE headlights stay on

I have a 99 Grand Prix SE and the low beam headlights stay on all the time. The taillights go off. The only way to shut them off is unplug them, the battery, or take out the ignition 1 fuse. taking out the headlamp fuse does nothing. I have no idea why they shut off when you pull the ignition 1 fuse. They also dont shutoff when you unplug the BCM or the DRL module. Also the air bag light is on and the fuel gauge is screwed up, and the alarm sometimes goes on all by itself and then shuts off, but I dont know if these have anything to do with headlights. Anyone got any ideas?

Re: 99 GP SE headlights stay on

sounds like a bad ignition switch/harness to me. Check the tips and maintenance sub-forum at the top of the GP forums for instructions.
