Rattling cat, any fix?

Hi,

I have a cat that rattle probably due to lose elements inside. Don't want to change it right now. Is there any quick fix to this? Like driving a screw in to it to hold the inside in place...?

Better to leave it alone until you can get it replaced.
Have a close look it may be a outside shield rattle.
What year and engine and mileage?

It's a 95 V6 and about 130 000km.
No, it's not the shield, did check that. When I bang it with my hand I hear the inside rattle... nothing loose on the outside.
Yes, maybe I should leave it for now. Actually it doesn't realy bother me as it's the wife that use the Blazer

I have to drive the Renualt Megane

If it is running ok for now just replace when you can.
If you screw anything into it it may break it up more.
It is a hard shelled honey comb type cat.
Good Luck.

I would agree, just leave it alone until you can replace it. Messing with it will only cause more problems
