Have you done a compression test on it to make sure that a camshaft hasnt skipped a cog? Lets start with the basics first before we go and replace any more parts.

Lightbulb Re: 1991 grand prix se coupe 3.4 wont start

if u read up at tha first post tha car will start and run on ether so as for is skipping or the crank cam sensors timing setup and anything else that would not let it run thats out it will start and run on ether im at tha point im thinking tha icm i replaced went bad again or i just bought a bad on or i have a bare wire somewhere thats shorten it out

Re: 1991 grand prix se coupe 3.4 wont start

Taking a shot in the dark here...
Did you try the easy stuff?
Disconnect the MAF and see if it fires up?
The MAP?
The IAT?
Did you check your engine ground and make sure its tight?
I don't see where you mentioned if the SES light is on or commented whether you have used an OBD I scanner on the car.
I'm musing here, I wonder if the O2 sensor is bad. If the car can fire up and as soon as you get going and it goes into closed loop and starts to use the 02 sensor it makes me wonder if that may be part of the problem? Has it ever been replaced?

Re: 1991 grand prix se coupe 3.4 wont start

If it starts and runs on ether, then it's a fuel supply problem, not spark related. You say that you have good fuel at the rail, what is the key/on engine off pressure reading? Just because there is pressure present, doesn't mean it's sufficient to fire the injectors. If the fuel pressure is in spec, then I would suspect the injectors.
