I just had the diagnostic scanning and got P0370 for my 2005 Honda Odyssey. The dealer said the transmission needed to be replaced. I feel the car is running pretty normal when driving. Do I really need a new transmission?
Thanks |

Re: Engine light code P0370
Hmm....I don't have my manual here with me, but searches on the web show that P0370 has nothing to do with the transmission. Are you sure that is the correct code? Glen

Re: Engine light code P0370
Thanks for the response. It is P0730, incorrect gear ratio.

Re: Engine light code P0370
That's right. "incorrect gear ratio" is tech speak for gear slipping. Are you challenging the diagnosis? Isn't your van still under the warranty period?
