1972 blazer running louder than normal

i was driving about 60 when there was a noise like a gunshot and now the truck runs louder than it should and i cant tell what the problem is

can anybody help me with this problem?

You probably blew a hole in your muffler or somewhere in the exhaust system prior to the muffler.

thanks for the advice.
i found the problem, the exhaust pipe is no longer tightened up with the exhaust manifold.
can somebody tell me how to reach those nuts without taking everything else out?

Long extensions and swivels if your lucky. Is the Donut (Gasket) o.k.?
