96 windstar turns over but will not stay started!!
i have a 96 windstar and have had simmilar problems in the past were the van would just quit while driving and start back up in 1 minute or 3 hours it was pretty random. we replaced the fuel pump and all went well for about 3 months but the other day it stoped and will turn over but imediatly stalls. it has fuel pressure and the battery is good! any advice would help!!

it might be the idle control motor--it lets the van idle smoothly.i replaced mine on my '96 windstar-it was like $50 at autozone.very easy to replace,takes about 2 minutes.

I had this problem on a 2000 3.8 Windstar. It was a bad idle solenoid. Very easy to change
