strut plates bad!!! please help!!!

i haea 95 buick riviera non-supercharged seriesII. and i think the strut top plates are bad beacuse whenever i make turns or go over large bumps, i get this attrocious pop. how much does it cost to repair? and how important is the repair, by that i mean can it wait until i have the cash, or should i park it?

have someone confirm the noise is not coming from the subframe bushings at the bottom.
the strut plates are easy to change, you need a spring compressor and some time.
you may need to have a front alignement done too(means you may want to change both).
I guess it's ok to drive it like that for a while
