The Truth About The Zc Series!!
After searching the internet to find out the HP output of my engine in my japanese imported integra ZX I came across a lot of confusion. My engine does not say VTEC on it, but it has vtec solenoids and it is clear that there is a vtec power boost at 5k~ rpm. I found out that there is a SOHC ZC VTEC engine (which is in my car) despite much controversey about the ZC series having VTEC in any models. The engine is dual carburated and redlines at around 7k~ rpm. It has about 130 horsepower at the crank and probably around 115-120 at the wheels. FINAL!
