2k Ford Windstar/auto door/won't idle
I have 2 problems. 1- My drivers side automatic door won't close all the way sometimes. Also, I have a problem with it wanting to idle at start up. It seems to be at cold starts. I have to keep my foot on the peddle to make sure it starts. When it warms up it seems to do fine.
Thanks, James |

Re: 2k Ford Windstar/auto door/won't idle
The idle issue could be caused by a sticking Idle Air Control (IAC) valve.
I would try cleaning it with a spray cleaner....WD-40 or Sea Foam......spray version, as you want to flush dirt out and leave a lubricant.
