Help me decide on what model to get!

I've been browsing HLJ for about 30 minutes, and there's a few things I'm sure to get:

Tamiya compound
Super fine sandpaper (anyone know the grit# on this?)
Some large (18-19") wheel I need for a model I'm working on now.

NOw the list!

FUJ18601 VeilSide R32 Skyline GT-R 2800
FUJ03379 Nissan R33 Skyline GT-R V Spec 1995 1000
FUJ03453 Nissan R34 Skyline 25GT Turbo 'Full Aero' 1600
FUJ03470 Nissan S15 Silvia Spec R Aero 1600
FUJ12490 AMG Mercedes E55 2000 2300
FUJ12457 Mercedes-Benz E320 Sports Version 1500
FUJ12468 Mitsubishi FTO Special Edition 1500
AOS26465 19in President Junction Produce 2000
AOS29688 JZZ30 Soarer 2.5GT Twin Turbo 1800
AOS22160 FD3S RX-7, Keisuke 1000
AOS22177 Toyota Crown V8 Royal Saloon G 'Junction Produce' 1800
AOS23976 Nissan Cima Type II Limited 'Insurance' 1800
AOS25970 Junction BPY32 Toyota Cedric 1800
AOS26243 Avantgarde Nissan President 1800
AOS25123 Infinity Q45 (1989) '19-inch Deep Rim Wheels' 1800
FUJ18671 Super Street Toyota Altezza TRD

Bold ones are *preferred*

I'm on a limited budget (my dad will be buying). I'm leaning most towards the AMG E55 mercedes, or possibly the super street altezza. Just wanted to know if you guys have any say on them..

If that's the Tamiya stuff, I believe the highest is 2000.
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/matrixco...finabulfi.html for refernece

S15, Junction Produce 19in, and Altezza TRD would be my choices

I would recommend:
FUJ03453 Nissan R34 Skyline 25GT Turbo 'Full Aero' 1600,
AOS25123 Infinity Q45 (1989) '19-inch Deep Rim Wheels' 1800
FUJ18671 Super Street Toyota Altezza TRD
FUJ03470 Nissan S15 Silvia Spec R Aero 1600
FUJ12490 AMG Mercedes E55 2000 2300
AOS29688 JZZ30 Soarer 2.5GT Twin Turbo 1800
I have most of these but these are especially recommended!

out of all of those, my choices would be the Soarer, the Altezza, or the S15 Aero. just a word of warning: you have an Initial D car listed that sounds like (by it's code name) that it's made by Aoshima (FD3S Rx-7, Keisuke). i think Aoshima only makes Initial D cars in 1/32. do a double check on HLJ to make sure. just wanted to make sure you knew that so you weren't disappointed. if you end up wanting that car, Fujimi makes it in 1/24.

You guys have anything to say about Tamiya sandpaper? I can buy 3m imperial wet-sand up to 2000grit at wal-mart, so I can take that out of my shopping cart.

Murco-- I've built 2 camaro models before and both came out beautifully. One was the revell 35th anniversary ss, and the other was an AMT '69 camaro z28.

I kind of want the s15, but I want one of the models that have the 19" rims. I'll see if I can get one of the 19" models, and then possibly the AMG E55 or the Skyline 25gt Full Aero.

OK guys I made my final decision:

TAM87021 Tamiya Compound 150
AOS22177 Toyota Crown V8 Royal Saloon G 'Junction Produce' 1800
AOS25765 EQUIP 19 Inch 800
AOS23839 Falcon Aristo V300 1800
TAM87052 Epoxy Putty Smooth Surface (25g) 400
TAM87036 Modeling Wax 800

The tamiya wax is not in stock, so I'm wondering if any of you ordered it from hlj and had any luck with it arriving.

Thumbs up Guido/Huudo...

You would be proud of the M-B collection I've amassed so far: about 7 different kits I found a SEALED Tamiya AMG S 600 Coupe at a hobby store almost by accident! Now to find the 4-door version.....
