air bag light

Hello everyone, I have an odd problem that I hope someone out there knows the answer to. My air bag light started coming on and staying on when the car first starts. Now it only started doing this in the morning or at night, in the heat of the day it would not come on. Now it comes on and stays on no matter what. Is there a test or a way to tell if its a sensor problem or has this happened to anyone out there? Any help or ideas would be great thanks.

Re: air bag light

Only way here is a scan with an air bag fuction scanner for the codes, this is not normally a " dyer" type repair.

Re: air bag light

Is that a special type of scanner or will a normal code scanner work? I have access to a normal digital code scanner.
