I have a 97 Accord EX (OBD II) and I bought a 96 engine swap (OBD I) for it. There is an issue with the distributor. The one on the H22 has two plugs and the one off my Accord has one plug...therefore, it won't fit. Can I wire the Accord harness to the two plugs on the H22 distributor? If so, how? Should I buy another distributor? I need to know as soon as possible guys. No offense, but I need knowledgeable, experienced answers for this one? Thanks

Re: H22 swap distributor problem...NEED HELP NOW!!!!!
Im sorta having the same problem -
I have a 99 Prelude - that i just put in a obd1 motor in but im running a JDM obd2 computer and i changed out all sensors except for the distributor because im using a JDM OBD2 P72 ECU and it looks for the TDC sensor and the CKP sensor on the distributor and not on the crank like the USDM models - my question is that the 4 wires that once went to those sensors at the crank need to go into my distributor and i dont know the wiring color code for either - can anyone shed some light on this subject???? |
