2000 Driver Side Mirror

Hello All,
Kids had broken the mirror from the driver side on my 2000 Alero. Only the glass broke, the housing is ok. How do I replace only the glass? Do I glue it on or do I need to replace the whole case & mirror. I can't seem to figure out how the mirror(glass) stays on the housing. I need to fix this so I can pass inspection.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Larry

Larry,
This may not work for you, but it's worth checking out. I have a 02 Alero that had the same situation and one of my local aftermarket stores got me one for around $12-15. It had the adhesive with it and went on perfect.
