hi guys thanks a lot for the information about how may i know if my car is gle, gxe etc....Well its a GXE rare cause has sunroof, Bose stereo, all electric etc etc. I was traveling to other state and the max speed that i went was 120 mph i dont know if the fkin...freeway end too soon or the car didt go more faster, but it never cut the power or the gas as many people told me. IF has govertator or that sh...(IM NOT ENOUGH GOOD GRAMMATIC GUY) how may i keep it off...drop it or whatever can say...!!!
at this time i beat bmw 325i, jetta VR6, i didnt have the chance to go more than 120 mph cause the freeway was very short. :smoker2:

I too just found out that I have a GXE from reading the model # under the hood, but the wierd thing is that its supposed to have a governor and I have went 140mph and it was ready to go faster but the race was over so I slowed down. My car also has power drivers seat, no sunroof, no automatic climate control, and no bose. I actually prefer not having the Bose system it made putting my sound system in a lot easier.

sumN must B wrong wit yo' ride, U only went 120 on da top end & U have a 2002 GXE, that thing should at least hit 130 or betta. Make sure u have da overdrive off B4 doin any racN cuz, da Bs auto shifta thinkz luxury cruzN Nstead of all out racN.
It's definitely not da governor.
Da freeway ended 2 soon

the governors on the 97-99 max was set to stop accelerating at 127. not sure what year you have but it might help.

ive got a 97 gxe with sunroof, pw, pl, power seat but dont have auto climate or bose.how do i get rid of the gov. chip?

GXE models do not come with "Bose" standard.

NICE REX!!!!!!!!!!! Did you do the FMIC on that yourself?, what other mods on it? Any chance you could post a bigger photo, or email direct to me? I just sold my 2nd gen REX to my buddy, going through serious withdraw pain, REXs are true race cars, Maximas are sedans.
