Impala hesitates

I have an 03 impala with 75,065 miles on it and when i go to accelerate it jerks into gear hesitates what could be the problem?

Sounds like your tranny needs to be service but 1st you can try disconnectiing you neg terminal for 60 secs and reconnect and take her for a drve to see what happens after this resets the computer,sometimes you have to do this with these cars ever so often

Don't believe GM's 100k mile tune-up interval, as it just doesn't hold up under real world conditions. At 75k miles, you're due for a tune-up. If the miss/jerking happens when the engine is under load or when it's right at the upshift/downshift threshold, then a tune-up will normally fix the issue.
