Dash Replacement and Now Air Bag Wrinkle
I bought my 2004 Alero 2 years ago with 25,000 miles. Six months later the dash was coming loose from the right side next to the door.
It was still under warranty so with some hassle, the dealer replaced the dash. Now the right side passenger air bag is wrinkling because of heat (I use a sunscreen too). Any solutions?

Re: Dash Replacement and Now Air Bag Wrinkle
After hassling with the dealer over my purchasing a new airbag, I contacted the Customer Assistance for GM. I explained that it was a safety hazard if the air bag was not put in correctly after my dash was replaced. They contacted the dealer for me and made arrangements for a new airbag to be installed at their expense. The cover of the airbag and the airbag itself I was told is in one piece, so it all had to be replaced. Without customer assistance I would not have gotten any help. I don't know how old your car is, but mine is a 2004. It was not under warranty.
