Exclamation need help

I have a 97 neon sohc. And I keep getting a code that say that I have a misfire on cyl 3. I just put new plugs and wires on it because I thought that was what it was but no. but it not an all the time problem it comes and goes. When I reset the comp it goes away for a while then it might come back right away or it may take a few days of driving. I have tried to unplug the comp and re plug it in but still same thing. One day when it was acting up I pull the 3rd cyl plug and it was still dry and good. So I figured I would check the fuel injectors and when it was running rough it was the same as if you cut the fuel from another injector. i then switched the injectors around to see if it was a bad injector but nothing. I also checked the wires that run from the injectors, form what I can see they are good. so now I am out of ideas, is there anyone out there who has had the same problem or something like it??
Thanks,
Neonracer9787

Re: need help

Have you checked the leads on the coil pack?

No, not the wires...the LEADS on the coil pack. Where the spark plug wire connects to.

Did you reset the PCM when you were done?
