89 Lebaron side moldings

I bought replacement doors for my '89 Lebaron but want to keep and reuse the side moldings. Are they mounted with glue or some kind of pinning? How do I get them off without wrecking them?

Re: 89 Lebaron side moldings

I Used 3M adhesive Remover/Solvent and a piece of Stainless Steel Wire with a Stick Wound on Each End. (Think Mob Movie) It will take some Time and Patience, but it does Work. Be Sure to do this OUTSIDE (fumes) or You will end up back at that Pink Floyd Concert. Good Luck!
