Clear tail lights for a Z31?

I have an '85 non-turbo coupe. I'm wanting to look into the possibilities surrounding clear tail lights. Does anyone have any information on what (if anything) is available?

Well Jeff I'd hate to tell you I never saw anything that could help you, but I haven't. If your z has the large taillights on either side I have seen these be replaced with skyline tails and that looks pretty good. If you have the tails that stretch all the way across you may be able to get a bodyshop to fit in a set of altezza's from an integra.

really?

how much fabrication is involved in putting the skyline tails in the z31's with the split rear lights? do you know of any sites with pics

it seems like it would take some work, the skyline lights being round and seperate and all

That guy needs to lose the big wing and dual exhaust...no need for that...and the faux grill

I agree, the wing and grill isn't cutting it.. but the tail lights are pretty nice.

It'd take serious $$$ to do either on a Z31 any way (from what I've seen...). I think I may end up doing a decal based mod though. Something that'd end up similar to this:

The differences would be that I'd have the bottom stuff designer too - I'm thinking actually having arrows over the turn signals and the remaining red block would be broken up into two circles per side.
