Bushings Replacement

My 86 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme is making clunking noises sporadically when I turn the wheel, brake hard, or close the bump. The right upper control arm bushing is missing, and I suspect this may be causing the noise. I brought the car to a mechanic to check it out and he said I should replace the center link since it seems like there is some play in the center link.

As of now, I'm only planning to get my mechanic to replace the left and right upper control arm bushings. Labor will be around $250. Does it make sense to replace the lower ones as well? It'll cost another $250. The lower ones are cracked but seem okay.

Should I be worried about the center link? There's a power steering fluid leak that I haven't bothered to replace which is causing the center link to become very grimy.

What else should I bother changing along the way? Ball joints? Control arm?

Re: Bushings Replacement

welcome to AF. If the lowers are not worn thru leave them till this is needed, we cannot tell you from here if the center link is beyond it serviceable limits, same as any other part that needs to be checked on site.
