1999 caravan window motor

Does anyone know if the window motor on a 1999 dodge caravan can be changes without having to remove the whole regulator assembly, and just the motor itself.

I'm assuming you're referring to the front power windows....

Yes, the motor can be changed by itself. You can find motors on ebay, or perhaps at the dealer (very expensive, most likely).

The reason you can find motors on ebay is probably because folks like me have had broken regulator cables and discovered that you can't buy a new regulator w/o a new motor in it, even though there is nothing wrong with the old motor.

Yup, been there. Those little plastic dealies that slide up and down the guides like to break. You can get regulators and motors as an assembly on the internet for $60 to $100.
