Dont do it. The ebay downpipes are built wrong. Do it right or dont do it at all.

well SOME are built wrong. but i don't think any of them (ebay ones) have a flex section. i've seen a few of them, and they look good. i know of one that broke b/c the guy had awful motor mounts, and b/c there was no flex section in the downpipe.

basically, you get what you pay for. 3SX, IPS, and Dynamic Racing all sell quality downpipes.

And if you look its built wrong. The rear bank pipe is flowing AGAINST the flow of the front bank. Not good at all.

Re: downpipe off of ebay

what would need to be done?... cut it off with a plasma cutter and turn it around and re-weld?

Re: downpipe off of ebay

If you just did that then its not longer going to be in the right place to mate up with the rear manifold. Youd have to cut it, cut out further back, weld it in and add a piece where the hole is going to be from the now missing piece. SO not worth it.
