Selling My System

Im letting go of my Rockford Frosgate 15'' Punch II subwoofer w/ custom carpeted box (which could fit 2 15'' subs in it), and my DB Drive A290 amp. The Rockford subwoofer is 500w and the amp is 350; so, it dosent push the sub to its limit, but it has the most beautiful crisp clear and clean sound i have ever heard from one speaker. So anyhow, does anyone know what a REASONABLE price i can ask for the system? (resonable for me and the buyer) Thanks a bunch.
Heres some pics of the sub (the shoe is for measurment purposes lol)

Re: Selling My System

you might be better off selling the amp and speaker seperately and ditching the box, unless you are gonna sell it locally. If the box is actually big enough for 2 15's then it will NOT hve a crisp clean sound to it.

Re: Selling My System

Ok, so what would you expect someone to ask for those 2 units?

Actually, the box is made to the exact specifications of the sub as to acheive optimum sound and preformance. That is why it produces such clean sound instead of being just a trunk vibrator Can anyone give me a quote on these?

Re: Selling My System

I have nver been an RF fan, and remember you are competing against CC/ BB prices when you sell stuff. Never expect to get more than 50-60% of what the lowest online dealer sells it for - if you get more, that's great.

Re: Selling My System

Just look for the ignorant ricer boy down the street and sell it to him and/or rip him off.

Re: Selling My System

I sold an old RF Punch 15, in a bandpass box with a garbage amp for like $250.

Re: Selling My System

Ok, well honestly I did not post this thread to be told how little I will get by selling this system. I am fully aware of what I am selling and am aware of the sound it is capable of producing. I just asked for a good asking price for the units. So if anyone would can give me actual numbers I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks alphalanos for letting me know how much you sold yours for.

Re: Selling My System

I actually gave you a "number" ..... take half of what you paid for it as a bottom line, anything more is gravy

Re: Selling My System

shoot for $200 bucks
everything off the street is half price, even though it's not that uncoomon for some brands to fetch more than half price for certain models...
