2003 ford windstar

hey guys hope someone can help.I have a 2003 ford windstar,I took the wife to store and came back home.I went out to take daughter to graduation and the thing wouldnt start. The radio, door locks, headlights blinkers wont work. Its just like a dead bat.The gauges go crazy when u turn key,and then the fuse box ,well it comes from that area, makes all kinds of noises. the only time head lights come on is when you put key in ignition, and the plate lights also. The battrey is good ,green light is on.Ipulled f uses 1 by 1 everything seems ok any ideas

Re: 2003 ford windstar

Try removing the battery cables and cleaning them....as well as cleaning the terminal posts on the battery.
The reinstall the cables and try again.

If you have a voltmeter, you might try checking the battery voltage when the ignition key is in the "ON" position....just in case the battery is failing under load.

Then, check the ground connections where they connect to the engine block and the body.
