Missing? 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix

I was at a stop light with my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix and pushed on the gas pedal no harder then I usually would when suddenly it lost all power for a second. Then before I could even release the gas pedal it regained power and took off as if there was nothing wrong. However when it took off i heard a bit of a clunk sound. What could possibly be the problem. I was thinking maybe it needs new plugs and wires which it hasn't had in some time. I also thought maybe fuel injector cleaner. I'm obviously not much of a car guy so any advice I can ge would be appreciated.

(update)
i stopped at a light and hit the gas to accelerate and the thing like lost power then suddenly regained it and i heard some sort of clunk kinda wasn't bad sounding just sounded like the car missed hopefully that was all. i let the car sit for a while then looked under the hood and discovered it leaking antifreeze from this thing by the battery at least that's where it looks to be leaking. i just took it for a trip around the block and when i accelerate it makes a strange sort of humming sound. no loss of power or anything just a strange noise.

Re: Missing? 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix

that's where i'd start on doing a tune up and take carb cleaner if it still dose it after tuneup and spray all your vaccum lines if it high idles when it's sprayed you have a vaccum leak at the line your spraying.....good luck....
