Re: 1994 Gmc Sierra Differential question

honestly the main difference between 3/4 ton and 1/2 ton is in the suspension so i would give an 80% chance of it fitting

Re: 1994 Gmc Sierra Differential question

The axles for 3/4 ton is 8 lug and the axles for 1/2 ton 6 lug, right. So the question is will you have to swap (or replace) the axles? Run an adapter?

Not really sure about the axles, but something to think about.

The other issue is mounting differences.

Re: 1994 Gmc Sierra Differential question

Ok, so i got into contact with the guy on ebay and this is what he told me.

"THIS WILL WORK, THIS IS A 6 LUG, THIS ONE WILL WORK, THIS IS A LIGHT DUTY 4X4 TRUCK NOT THE HEAVY DUTY STYLE....THIS CAME WITH 6 LUGS FRUM THE FACTORY"

I always thought they made 3/4Tons in only 8Lugs, did they ever make them as a 6lug? I think im gonna look into this alittle more also so if anyone has an answer to this please respond asap.

Re: 1994 Gmc Sierra Differential question

they did make them in a 6 lug axle, seems like you got a good buy
if you look at many of the 3/4 ton trucks in 89 through at least 95, the axles are the same.
