Hey, i got a 1990 Civic Si, and the best mod i have done so far is the ZC TRANNY with SI Final Drive!!!! and while doing this, upgrade your clutch also, i got a Exedy Clutch, and i love it!!! And i know a bunch of other people on this board have it too, and they can vouch for it also!
That and get a CAI, I have a AEM CAI and this thing has a K&N Filter on the end of it and it gave me better gas mileage and it sounds fukin awsome!!! its soo damn loud, but not like an exhaust, and its loud at WOT! but regular throttle, it sounds like a normal car, but when you puch it, it sound awsome!!!

1991 Civic LX Sedan
Only upgrades I have are intake and exhaust exhaust probably adds about 3-5 hp intake probably adds about the same If I really wanted to do something good to my car I would get Multi Point Fuel Injection (4 injectiors instead of two, they also are bigger) But im too lazy to do that

1990 JDM SiR import
Ummm mods? Hmmm... Finerfilter air filter insert Jamex Suspension (shocks matched to lowered progressive rate springs) Spoon Strut brace Aussie/JDM VTiR Mags On the list: Mandrel bent exhaust (factory is crush bent) High flow catalytic convertor and high flow muffler (assuming I can get them custom made to match the JDM originals. Larger rear stabiliser bar (22mm) Rear strut brace Maybe upgrade the cams in the B16A, but not right now. |

i have an 89 Si with a sohc vtec. why? it was $500 (12,000 miles on it). only other things needed are ECU $150 and wiring harness $150.
the next step will be a "junkyard turbo". it costs around $2000 and you can run 10 psi vs others which cost more & less psi. 12 sec civic ...this one is a junkyard turbo on the dx d15 engine thedropshop ...a fellow 4th genner. see him for a junkyard set-up :jump:
