Idle Air Control!
Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to change an Idle air control for a 2001 Escape? And if not to difficult, how do I do it?

Re: Idle Air Control!
It's not difficult . It is located on top of the throttle body. It looks like a small electric motor with 2 wires running into iit. Make sure the gasket is all right because it will leak air in not in place. Just unscrew the 2 bolts on the flange. I believe they take an 8mm bolt.
