interested in saturn
hello i have been looking around for awhile and i came across a 97 saturn sc1 5-speed with 94000 on it.I havent really looked into it yet but one thing i did look for was if it had rust it looks clean to me. I was wanting to know the maximum price i should pay and what i should start at for nagotiation. I also wanted to know how much power i can get out of that lil 1.9 i want to get into the import scene and that seems like a cheaper start for me im only 17.

Re: interested in saturn
If you want to go fast, don't buy an SC1. Thats a single cam engine. You want a twin cam. Look for an SC2. There's almost nothing out there to make a single cam go faster. Lot's of stuff for twin cams. Even without mods, you get about 40 more horsepower over the single cam.

Re: interested in saturn
I assume that you were looking for rust underneath. This Saturn's doors fenders and quarter panels are plastic. No rust there.

Re: interested in saturn
These Saturn's doors fenders, quarter panels and saturn mudflap are made of plastic. The rust are under it.It is a good idea that you ask the maximum price, but if you are looking for fast car its an Sc2 you should prefer.
