Door Adjar Switch Location Picture

The Door switch that activates the door adjar lamp on the dashboard and keeps the interior lights on whenever the vehicle is not moving above about 10mph is located inside the door.
There is one inside the driver's door, one inside the passenger door, and one inside each sliding door......connected through the pilar mounted pads and spring loaded buttons.
There is also a switch(s) for the rear hatch.

I took a picture of the location of the one inside the driver's door.
It is not a very good photo.....a hard to photograph location.
It is in the pictures that the link in my signature takes you to.

To get to it, you remove the inner door panel (I have step by step pictures of that posted also), then you remove the moisture shield.

The door switch is mounted inside the door, on the bottom of the latch.
The solenoid that works the door lock is below this.

The switch contacts are CLOSED to indicate a open door.
They become OPEN when the door is closed.

Mine was intermittent......and when I looked at it with a flashlight......it was covered with the thick grease from the door latch (being mounted to the bottom of the door latch.....that is a logical place for the grease to ooze).
As it was all greasy, I sprayed brake parts cleaner over the door switch.
