1999 Windstar Lx Front Bumper

Hi Guys:

My Windstar, plastic, front bumper, (Ha Ha ) has two good size dings, one on each side. They are about 10 - 12 inches in diameter and maybe 2-4 inches in depth. Has anyone had any experience popping out these kind of dings?
I did talk to a Body Repair guy about these last year and he mentioned at that time that it was pretty simple to Pop them out using heat ( Using a heat gun, I guess)

I sure would appreciate any help or experience from anyone who might have already fixed some of these little problems.
