Rear suspension problem

I experience the following phenomenon on both my 94 PA (GTS) and 94 PAU (Dynaride):

Whenever I hit a pothole, it feels like the rear of the car moves sideways. In curves, it almost feels like the car is taking a small step to the side.

What could be causing this?

Re: Rear suspension problem

Have you had the 4-wheel alignment lately? This problem sounds like you could have too much negative camber. What's the downside to negative camber? Click Here FMI.

Re: Rear suspension problem

Thanks for the link. Very informative.

No wheel alignment has been done to the cars, but I did notice that there's more wear on the insides of the rear tires than on the outsides. So I guess the negative camber could indeed be the problem here.

Thanks again!
