Saying Goodbye

Well guys, I have decided to get rid of the 2001 Eclipse Spyder. It was a fun 2 years while it lasted but the car was just getting to many miles and I really was getting tired of a small car. I traded it in today for a new Mercury Mariner 4wd. Wow, what a change that was. I don't think I will be spending the time or the money to make my SUV any faster...lol I think it is fine the way it is.

I just want to say thanks to all the guys in here that have given some great advise and knowledge on our cars. And thanks to all the guys that make the smart ass comments to the newbies that think they know it all.

Have a great day and don't kill yourselfs trying to make your car faster. Invest some money in a ROTH IRA. Much more worth it.

Re: Saying Goodbye

Well the funny thing about this is my SUV did not last very long. I kept it for a week and got rid of it. I was only getting 16 - 18 MPG and that was not gonna cut it with my job. I now have a Mazda 3. This car is a 4 banger and is really fun to drive. Lot more room and looks nicer then the eclipse IMO. Hope you all are having fun and I will keep you in my thoughts.
