I love finding helpful places on the net like this one! Nice to know there are people around that will offer advice without trying to get one over on you. (especially if you don't have much money) So we have been encountering a problem with our dodge truck. It is a 99 dodge ram 1500 2wd v8. It was shifting hard and slipping around corners so we checked the transmission fluid. There wasn't any.

The guy at the Automotive school said he didn't know how the truck was still going. That fixed that prob. Now it stalls now and then. Yesterday it started to turn over, then paused for just a moment (silence) then started right up. This morning it stalled all together. the gas was low, but wasn't empty. Wouldn't restart. Put gas in and he said it is running okay now, but this stalling thing is bothering me. The truck has a performance chip in it. Could it be something related to that. Is is just mucky fuel lines? Spark plugs? Selenoid (whatever that is) His boss was looking at the plugs and said they are old...(the same man that caused $3000 worth of damage to his own dodge trying to change his own plugs.......) Where should we start to diagnose this problem...... I'm just a girlie girl and don't know a lot about cars, but I try my best to avoid getting burned too. Hubby knows even less about cars than me.

but I luv'em.... Please advise. Does anyone know of common problems with Dodge trucks??
