AMT Prowler

Hi Guys!

This is my Prowler finished earlyer this year. The kit is an AMT kit which I had numerous problems with, especially the fit was poor. At the end it wasnt a fun build at all...

Here are the pictures. The exterior is mixed wine red, the interior is grey.

And one with trailer

Thanks for looking!

Looks like you did a nice clean job on this

I actually thought it was a pretty well fitting kit (apart from the track on those rear wheels ) and really enjoyed it.

What's the deal with those front bumpers? They look like 2-part items and mine were solid cast

Thanks dude!

I dont know what happened to my kit, it just didnt fit good enough. I believe there can be two different AMT Prowler kits (the one with the yellow color, and the other one with the purple one on the box), so you might have the other one which has better quality. I dont have any other idea...

The front (and rear also) bumpers are molded in light grey in two pieces in this kit. They fit well except for the turning signal clear parts. I especially like the 'Plymouth' and 'Prowler' text on the reat bumpers...

Re: AMT Prowler

Look great, did you paint the body or polish the heck out of the plastic?

Thanks!

The body was painted with a mixture of rubyred and wine red. The kit was originally molded in light grey.

OIC, regaurdless it looks fantastic. I have a snap-tite kit that was molded in a plastic color very simular to what you have there, thats the only reason I asked
