Re: quick question

no proof to show you, there isnt any. But its almost a certainty that it will be done. I know people whos fathers work for GM and have had a hand in building it. It will come out, dont expect GM to kill its tuner model and not replace it with something else. And lets face it, turbos sell better in the tunning market.

Re: quick question

yeah that is true because when most people look for fast cars they just look at the hp and don't even look at what rpm the get the hp or how much torque it gets at certian rpms. and the turboed cobalt will prply get around 260 like the GM roadsters because they have the same engine right? the ec***? forgot the rest of the name...

260 sounds alot better then 205 and you can save more gas by not using the turbo so i'm sure they would sell more if it were turboed.

They have replaced it, its called the HHR SS. It has the 2.0 LNF turbo motor thats shared with the SAAB 9-2 turbo and the Sky/Solstices.

Honestly I DO NOT see this coming out. There hasn't even been a mock up spied on it.

The most evidence available shows 2 scenarios. GM dropping the cobalt (yes its true, do some research. GM is looking to either a: close the lordstown plant. b:convert it for a different car) Or another scenario is a complete redesign of the cobalt, at that point then I can see the Cobalt going to a turbo platform, but until then it will not have any forced induction.

Fact is, even if theres "here say" of "well I know someone that knows someone that knows someone" it has not proof at all and is all fluff. Simple fact, information is almost NEVER conveyed in all its originality when its word of mouth.

Once again all "here say"

When I was a member on Cobaltss.net people who supposedly worked at Lordstown created fake "proof" that the turbo cobalt was coming out for 2008, now look what happened.

And actually the HHR is the replacement for the performance model of the cobalt, its turbo'd and has all of GM's small car development teams attention.
