OBD Connectors

I have a 94 metro. It has a 12-pin Data Link Connector. Manual says I need a "Tech 1" scan tool. Is there an adapter or cable I can use to connect this to my OBD2 scanner?

Re: OBD Connectors

I believe OBD1 and OBD2 are not compatible - you will probably need an OBD1 scanner.

Re: OBD Connectors

OK, I got this info... You can get a cable from "akmcables.com" and then download "winaldl" to a laptop, and you should be able to get the the realtime sensor data.. just like the "tech1" would.
If anyone has already done this, please post your success or failure... thanks!
