Lexus LS460 or LS600

Am I mistaken, but wasn't Fujimi releasing a Lexus LS460/600L? Does anybody have the link to the pictures (I know I saw some) and a release date? Thanks!

I do remembered they shew a prototype of the LS460 in Shizuoka hobby show(maybe Tokyo?) last year. Personally I'm very interested in this too, the LS460 is really a nice car.

Yeah, you're right...there were pics of a stock LS prototype at Shizuoka. Fujimi might release one, since they already have the IS-series. I like the car too, though I'd buy an S-class any day before the LS. I'd still buy the model kit, though.

Re: Lexus LS460 or LS600

Recent Lexus cars are really some nice works though I'm not a big fan of Japanese cars, the GS series is my personal favourite, hope some one can do the kit, LS and IS are both very nice. But I've no idea why there's no further info about the LS in last 1 year, that's strange. Talking about S-class I really hope that revell could do the W221. I Remember there was a thread which was started by Mr.Tigeraid talking abouth possible releasing of MB models by aoshima, but seems nothing followed though.

Re: Lexus LS460 or LS600

I remember seeing it last year as well, though I think it may have been by Aoshima. Perhaps it will surface later this year?

Re: Lexus LS460 or LS600

I believe it was last fall's Tokyo Hobby & R/C Show where Fujimi displayed an early prototype model of the LS600h, but it was nowhere to be found at the Shizuoka Hobby Show last month. (instead, we saw 126C2 prototype, instead) So, the Lexus project must have been either canceled, or pushed off. If we don't see any news this fall, I'd think the prototype didn't generate enough buzz.

Maybe they postponed it for the release of the actual car, which is occurring soon.

Re: Lexus LS460 or LS600

I recently bought the Fujimi Lexus LS600hL "deluxe" kit." It's awesome. The photoetch and metal transfers are very well done, and there's a lot of detail.

I just noticed that KA's new LS600 detail set is a rip off of Fujimi's. It's exactly the same. I wonder if KA contracted with Fujimi to produce and supply the deluxe bits (doubtful), or did they just copy Fujimi's? KA's set costs $25.00; for that price, you might as well just buy the Fujimi deluxe edition!

KA's was out before the Fujimi Delux set. Also, I think Crazy Modeler just released a 600 set as well.

I'm sure the owner of KA would laughing his ass off if he heard that, because KA is the supplier for Fujimi.
