97 cavalier 5 error code(s)

Hello, my girls 97 cavalier is spitting out 5 error code(s). my Haynes book tells me what a few are but not all. the codes are P0107, P0113, P0121, P1133, P0113 (that's right, same code twice). I'm not sure about the code P1133. The Haynes book described what codes goes with what sensor but what do I do from there ? Replace all the sensors mentioned ? How do I reset the comp. to get fresh codes ? The car acts like its not getting any fuel, catches for 1 sec then dies before or when you give the engine gas. I was running great for the past two weeks after tune up was performed, the car was parked at the library (12 miles away), the car is still there and wont start. also I rented a code reader from Autozone. please help my girl needs this car.

Thank everyone........ekoms

Re: 97 cavalier 5 error code(s)

I had a Dodge Spirit do this and it was the dist. cap. I'm new to Cavaliers and I don't think they have a cap&rotor. If i'm wrong please correct me. The Dodge Spirits that I had had the 2.5L four and the 3.0 Six. Both had cap and rotor. As a matter of fact I had that problem 3 times.
I use to run a mailroute so I learned to try and fix things myself. What mileage are we talking about? The one other time where the car would not start it was the fuel pump. You could tell when a fuel pump was getting weak on them cause they would start to hum real bad.
My friends car would not start one day and we pulled the codes and it was like your situation where there were many codes. None of the codes made much sense to tell you the truth and his problem was a failed fuel pump. Get back with somemore info. Hope this helps.

Re: 97 cavalier 5 error code(s)

well the car has 170k miles, and I kinda thinks it is the fuel pump as the car acts like its not getting fuel. I cant hear any hum/nosies from the pump pressurizing. as for the the dist and roto, I don't think its has one, It has an Ignition Module. Can you tell me how to clear the codes so I can get fresh ones (don't know what codes are valid/old).

edit....spelling

Thanks............ekoms
