05 town & country-[power door locks)

I bought a van two months ago, limited. with remote fob. The fob unlocks the rear gate. You can hear the click when you unlock on the fob but the doors don;t unlock. also when you press lock, the horn blows, lights. but it doesn;t lock the doors.

Inside the drivers door lock does not lock/unlock but you can open all doors with the console. Fuses checked, ok.

What's next?

There's a TSB from Chrysler on this. It's a software update to the BCM. In the meantime, disconnect your battery negative cable for 5 mins and then reconnect. That will reboot the BCM and it will work again until it gets latched up again. TSB 08-040-04
