97 Grand Am Power steering hose

I have just run into a problem with my 97 grand am 3.1 v6. It seems to have a leak in the power steering pressure hose. I have located the pin size leak but I am wondering now how to fix the problem. I can get to the rubber hose but I am having a hard time trying to get to the other end of the hose which is located on the drivers side below by the steering column. Im not sure if I can get it from underneath or if i have to go from up top? Its only to losen a bolt but it still looks very diffucult. If you have any answers please let me know before i tackle the problem. thanks, Patrick
