Problems after replacing speakers

Hi,

I just upgraded my speakers (6.5) in my (R/T 2002) Durango the other day and now the back/rear does not work. I've hooked many systems up in the passed and have never had this problem. I checked the fuses and the wiring and all seems to be good...does anyone know what this could be? Thanks.

Re: Problems after replacing speakers

I had a b!tch with the push-on terminals being so small, I had to crimp the connector to keep it from falling off. And then the wires were stiffer than the terminals and they kept bending. These are the Infinity brand, BTW. I would have soldered the wires direct, but I didn't know if I was going to keep them.
Worst case scenario is maybe they're blown?

Re: Problems after replacing speakers

The speakers are new and i tested them before I hooked them up. the connection is good also. I'm thing that it may have something to do with the factory amp? They still do not work.

Howdy Cowboy
I had the same problem in my RAM 1500, found out that in some models the AMP is built into the front speakers. I had to figure out how to get power to the back speakers. Ended up just changing the H.U. as well as all the speakers.
