tailights staying on

i have a 1997 gmc sierrra sle and the tailights stay on with the keys out and the lights turned off.the only way to get them to go out is to remove the aux b 30 amp fuse in the underhood fuse/relay center.my question is
1.has anyone had this problem before?
2.what are the aux a & b fuse for?
thank you for any help in advance

Re: tailights staying on

Welcome to the Forum. Is it the tail lights or the brake lights? If it is the tail lights it may be the head light switch. If it is the brake lights then it is the brake light switch.
