Nissan Transmission Wiring Diagram Needed.

I'm looking for a wiring diagram for a nissan 4sp auto transmission.
Model # is RE4F03B. Was used in several of their small-mid size cars around the world, this one is in an Avenir.

Re: Nissan Transmission Wiring Diagram Needed.

Can I suggest a fix?

matches and petrol.............

If it was used in the Avenir, was it also used in the Pulsar (and its many variants?) if so you might have some luck with one of the local Nissan Clubs.
Several of them have translated Japanese manuals for a variety of models.

Nothing that drastic.

I want to tap into the wires so I can check when the lockup solenoid kicks in. From there maybe initiate it in 2nd and 3rd to help on hills.

But after downloading 3 different manuals I found one that's almost right (from a russian website). In a whole 300 odd page service manual, the only page which mentions which transmission the manual fits is the cross-section views.

I think I would stick with my first suggestion..........

At least its got a lock up TC.
My father had an Avanir for with a little 1600 carby motor in it (not bad for a mid 90s car) that did not have a lock up TC.
And who says Nissan tried every possible bit of cost cutting they could in the 90s..........

The avenir I drive (W11) is one of the most invisible cars on the road. 99% of people think it's a subaru. Similar size, similar looking back window and similar side crease.
Unlike a subaru it's reliable and economical.

Drivetrain and dash are straight out of a P11 primera (1.8l variable valve timing, 4sp auto).
They also do a 2L turbo version (SR20DET), which shares the same suspension trim as mine.
Best handling FWD car I've ever driven. Drifts evenly and predictably when pushed too hard. Can d0 540km down the westcoast through Haast in 6 hours at the speed limit.
If you've never driven there, it's a string of 35-45km corners. With the occasional 25 and 15km corners thrown in for laughs.

Re: Nissan Transmission Wiring Diagram Needed.

I was in Haast only a couple of weeks ago, I know the road reasonably well
(Did flew to Chch then drove Chch to Dunners, to Invers, to Milford Sound to Te Annu, to West Caost, to Hoki, back to Chch all in a borrowed RAV4.)

My father had the previous generation Avenir, based on the pulsar.
Total piece of crap!

The best handling Nissan Iv ever driven was an old 100a cherry, that thing could really slide round the corners! (of course it also had independant suspension on all 4 wheels, not the thousand year old log axle modern Nissan's use at the back)
The next best was a SSS Sentra, the NZ new model with a SR20DE.

I'm currently living in Greymouth. You would have missed it by 17km. Good choice.

My Avenir is independent all four corners. Legacy of the 4wd version it shares it's suspension with.

Cool, very rare for a 90s Nissan.
The vast majority all have a log in the back.
Even the new Prime errors have a beam axle at the back, its cost cutting at its worst IMO.
